En este tutorial te enseño a crear cuadros con mosaico de cemento. Este material es económico y con él podemos crear teselas de imitación a azulejo de la forma, tamaño y color que queramos. Tienen miles de posibilidades, no hay límite en el diseño.
Materiales
Ésta es una colaboración con Baixens, en la que he utilizado tres de sus múltiples materiales, y eso me ha permitido crear las teselas protegiéndolas correctamente y apicando un tapajuntas ligero para que no pese en exceso. Necesitarás:
- Base de madera
- Cola blanca
- Tenazas
- Molde de silicona
- Pintura acrílica
- Esponja
- Paño
- Agua
- Lija de grano fino
- Pinceles

En el siguiente vídeo tutorial de mi canal de YouTube te explico el paso a paso para que tú mismo puedas crear tus propios cuadros con mosaico de cemento, fácilmente y de una forma completamente personalizada.El cemento es una material económico y que nos da muchas opciones, por lo que es genial para crear tus propias teselas caseras cuando no quieres comprar azulejos.
El acabado es muy parecido cuando ya tienes el mosaico terminado. Puedes además jugar con el aspecto brillante, cerámico, satinado o mate dependiendo el barniz que apliques al final. El Latexplast de Baixens que yo he utilizado tiene un acabado satinado que me gustó mucho y se asemeja bastante al acabado de los azulejos satinados.
Siempre que os enseño a crear teselas caseras, pintadas a mano, os recuerdo que debemos protegerlas después de aplicar la pintura y antes de tapar las juntas, porque si no la pintura estará expuesta a la limpieza del mosaico en la que se frota con una esponja y se arrastra la masilla. Si las protegemos bien a la pintura no le ocurrirá nada.
Debemos tener en cuenta que el cemento suele añadir un poco de peso a la pieza, por eso quiero recalcar la importancia de la masilla ultraligera Rualaix Muralight, ya que no añade nada más de peso.
